Phosphate-Bonded High Alumina Bricks
Phosphate-Bonded Wear-Resistant Brick, grade 1300
A phosphate-bonded wear-resistant brick (Al₂O₃ ≥ 55 %) for preheating and cooling zones of lime, magnesium, zinc-oxide and alumina rotary kilns.
Overview
Phosphate-bonded wear-resistant brick with Al₂O₃ ≥ 55 %, RUL ≥ 1300 ℃ and abrasion loss ≤ 8.5 cm³, for medium-temperature wear zones.
Applications
- Preheating and cooling zones of zinc-oxide, magnesium-metal, lime and alumina rotary kilns
- Preheating and cooling zones of incineration kilns
Where it is used in the kiln
- Lime rotary kiln · Preheating and cooling zones
- Magnesium-metal (dolomite) rotary kiln · Preheating and cooling zones
- Zinc-oxide (Waelz) kiln · Preheating and cooling zones
- Waste-incineration rotary kiln · Preheating and cooling zones
- Bauxite / alumina rotary kiln · Preheating and cooling zones (alumina)
Storage and installation
Phosphate-bonded bricks must be kept dry: cover them in transit and in storage.

FAQ
Why do RUL values appear as T0.5 or T0.6?
They come from different methods: YB/T 370 (non-differential) reports T0.6, GB/T 5989 / ISO 1893 (differential) reports T0.5, and the two cannot be converted. Jinxing's current data are reported at 0.2 MPa / 0.6 % deformation (T0.6).
Are the data-sheet values guaranteed?
Unless marked "Spec", values are typical and for reference only; each shipment is supplied with its own inspection report.
Why must phosphate-bonded bricks be kept dry?
Unfired or low-temperature-treated phosphate-bonded bricks can lose strength when they absorb moisture, so they must be stored and shipped protected from rain and humidity and installed promptly.
